Defend the Flatland

This game was created in 72 hours for Mini Jam 174: Defense.

You are a circle. All other shapes will harm you, except for other circles. Your only resource is the triangle (▲), which you can shoot.

In Flatland, when two shapes of the same type collide, they merge into a new shape with one additional edge. Two triangles form a square, two squares create a pentagon, and finally, two pentagons combine to create a circle.

GOAL

Grow the central circle until it becomes larger than the semi-transparent circle in the background.

CONTROLS

• Left Click: Create and shoot a triangle (▲).
• Right Click: Pull a shape toward the center.

RULES

• When two shapes of the same type collide, they combine into a new shape with more edges.
• The central circle shrinks when it collides with other shapes.
  
• The central circle grows when it touches other circles.
